The MARCH Weekday Walk will be on WEDNESDAY 25th and will follow a section of the River Ayr Way.

We'll meet at Oswald's Bridge near Auchincruive at 10am and start from there .. there's parking on both sides of the bridge.

A short distance from the bridge is a memorial to Wallace and Burns. After a quick visit we'll return to start the route of the River Ayr Way.

We'll follow the route until reaching Annbank, where we'll continue up the main street where we turn left, passing the bowling club and on to a path. We'll cross a stream and take the path going west through a wood and then down to the river.

This path takes us back to the start, but we can make a stop when we reach Rivergarden to visit the Bothy Café for some refreshments. After the stop, it is about 1 kilometre back to Oswald’s Bridge.

The route in total is about 12.5km (8miles) with about 250m of ascent and likely time of 3.5-4 hours.
