The JULY Weekday Walk will be on THURSDAY 30th and will be a visit to the Kilpatrick Hills.
We'll meet at 10am in the car park adjacent to Kilpatrick Railway Station.
Old Kilpatrick can be reached by driving along the M8 to the Old Kilpatrick turn-off which is immediately after the slip road onto the Erskine Bridge when coming from Glasgow. This slip road is not very well signposted, so keep your eyes peeled. There should be no problem finding a spot to park.

Depending on the weather and how energetic we are feeling, we can decide on how far to walk. I have a route in mind that can be extended if required.
As a minimum, the plan is to walk from Kilpatrick out into the local hills, which offer good views of the Clyde on a good day .. walk duration will be 3-4 hours.
We can make a detour on the way back to extend the walk, if desired.
Bowling has a few good cafes to have a drink after the walk.

If you'd like to come along on this walk, please email me by Tuesday 28 June to let me know you plan to attend.
I can also put you in touch with others attending to help with car sharing if required.
