This is now a past outing .. like to read about it?
The FEBRUARY Weekday Walk will be on TUESDAY 24th and will be in the Kilmacolm area of Inverclyde.
We'll meet at 10am opposite the Co-Op Food in the middle of Kilmacolm. Kilmacolm can be reached by driving along the M8 to Port Glasgow and then south on the A761. There should be no problem finding somewhere to park in the nearby streets.

Depending on the weather and how energetic we're feeling, we can decide on how far to walk. I have a route in mind that can be extended if required.
As a minimum, the plan is to walk from Kilmacolm out into the local hills, hopefully taking in 'Knockmountain' (GR373718), which offers good views of the Clyde. We can make a detour on the way back, to extend the walk if desired.

The likely time for the walk is 2-3 hours.
Kilmacolm has a few good cafes to have a hot drink before or after the walk. One also does very good lunches.
If you'd like to come along on this walk, please email me by Friday 20 February to let me know you plan to attend. I can also put you in touch with others attending to help with car sharing.
