The Club's traditional NEW YEAR WALK in 2026 is on SATURDAY 10th JANUARY (not on a Weekday!) and will be an ascent of the often-climbed Tinto Hill.
We'll meet at the Tinto Hill Car Park just off the A73, as noted on the Google map below, at 10am.

We'll take the path to the summit where we'll toast the New Year with a drink and cake as usual.
The descent will be by the same route.
After getting back, we can head for the Tinto Hill Tearoom for some food and refreshments.

The route distance is about 7km with ascent of 480m, which will probably take around 3 hours.
