Friday 10 to Sunday 12 July 2026
Main map required is LandRanger 36 Grantown, Aviemore & Cairngorm area,
but you may need others if walking further afield.

The July weekend trip to the Cairngorms will now be to Aviemore area .. please note the change from the Braemar area as originally published.
It is proposed to base ourselves at the Coylumbridge Resort Hotel, Coylumbridge, Aviemore, PH22 1QN.
The area around Aviemore has other hotels and B&Bs if alternative accommodation is preferred.
There are many possible walks in the area, from forest trails to Munros .. see Walkhighlands for details.
The proposed walk for Saturday is an ascent of the local Corbett, Meall a' Bhuachaille.
Final plans can be decided nearer the weekend, and could be weather dependent.
If you would like to come along on the weekend, please book your own accommodation and let me know.
