The walk is along good wind farm tracks .. no mud or potholes .. and takes about an hour to reach the first turbine. There is a selection of tracks within the wind farm, but heading for the met. mast adds about 30 minutes and gives good views over the Firth of Clyde towards Arran and Ailsa Craig.
The summit of Blaeloch Hill is about 0.5 km from the first turbine, and involves a further 30m of ascent if anyone wishes to add a Marilyn to their list.
The route distance is about 6 miles with around 180m of ascent, and the likely time is about 2.5-3 hours.
If you plan to go on this walk, please let me know by Monday 23 June ...
