The walk will be an ascent of The Fruin near Helensburgh .. it's not named on the OS maps, but has the spot height of 361m shown at GR NS 276872.
The meeting point is in the car park by the Hill House at the top of Upper Colquhoun Street in Helensburgh at 10am .. although this is a NTS property, the car park is free.

From the car park, we'll take the path of the Three Lochs Way until we get to the edge of the Highlandman’s Wood. We'll then walk up to Tom na h-Airidh. We'll skirt the forest and head over to the summit of The Fruin. We'll return by the same route.
(Click the OS section to download for printing)
The distance is about 10km or 6.25mls, with about 320m of ascent and likely time of 3 hours.
After the walk we can visit the café in The Hill House, where there is an excellent choice of lunch and cakes.
If you would like to join the club on this outing, please let me know by Tuesday 25th February. Please also let me know what your travel plans are so that I can co-ordinate car sharing.
