Hilary drove to Tomintoul, visited the Still Art Viewpoint and had a walk around before checking in. Justin was able to leave work early so was able to arrive in time to join us for dinner.

Justin headed to Braemar and climbed Sgor Mor .. his 150th Corbett. Steven, Heidi and I drove to Corgaff Castle and climbed Brown Cow Hill. We stopped briefly at the Watchers on the way back. Hilary had a guided tour of Tomintoul.
Sunday
Justin headed to the Spittal of Glenshee and climbed Ben Gulabin, then drove to Ayrshire to visit his parents. I went up to the Lecht and climbed Carn Ealasaid before heading home. Steven, Hilary and Heidi visited the Still Art Viewpoint before going to Findhorn for a walk.

September Weekday Walk by the River Clyde
There was a good turnout for this very local walk along the River Clyde. We left Central Station at 10.30am and headed down towards the river. My oldest daughter Fiona joined us along with baby Ruariaidh. We has a leisurely stroll along to the Riverside Museum and the tall ship Glenlee. After a brief stop, we crossed over the new Govan-Partick footbridge.
Next we moved on to the Science Centre where a lunch stop was made .. good food here! A few of the group decided to head off early while the others continued on a convoluted route, as direct access to the river isn't possible here. We ended up crossing the suspension bridge and most headed back to the station. Three of us headed to the Pot Still for a refreshment .. some stayed longer than others!!
It was a grand day out in warm sunshine.
